What is Shopify Power?

Hey, I’m Incognito Guy. If you found me, you may also be pulling your hair out trying to do e-commerce with Shopify or the like. I created this blog as “Incognito Guy” because it’s better than the many unhealthy alternatives to the frustrations that e-Commerce entrepreneurs face day in and day out. (If you just joined me, I recommend that you click the archives for June 2019, scroll down and read the very first “Hello World” post and read up. It explains what I’m doing here much better than I’m going to attempt to rephrase here.)

In short, I’m blogging about all my trials and tribulations in Shopify but there is zero connection to Shopify – see the large disclaimer at the top of every page. Think of me as a humorous entrepreneurial sidekick friend who just gets you.

Incognito Guy

…if you follow my blog here, you’re gonna find out:

This site started June 1, 2019 after a long night of serious frustration as a means to vent and find the humor in all of the craziness of trying to jump through hoops for e-commerce and trying to appease AI bots (I’m looking at you Instagram and Facebook for instance) that randomly have all the power over our very existence and abilities to succeed online.

When we have to provide our personal info. but the powers that be to approve us provide no contact information or phone numbers to talk to an actual human to get any straight answers, even if we Paid them, we definitely need a place to vent.

As a new follower, just know, this is written with humorous intent while all true. Unfortunately.

Don’t be a stranger. I may be Incognito Guy but I’ll reply if you care enough to read this stuff.

Have fun! But not too much fun. You can let me know either way in the comments. It would be nice to know you exist. Say hello if you get anything out of this, even if it’s just a five minutes of time you’ll never get back. 😉

And I may sound a bit negative but it’s tongue in cheek. If I didn’t actually use and like the apps and services I’m talking about like Shopify, there’d be no blog. I just can’t always seem to make them work. (I am tempted to coin the phrase “ton in cheek” because there’s a ton of stuff that’s driving me crazy with this Shopify business. Relate? Read on. And it will probably read like a book if you read it backwards instead of starting with the latest posts. Just sayin’. I still recommend that you head over the June 2019 archives, scroll down to “Hello World” and read posts chronologically by scrolling back up .)
